Aemstelhuys Bed & Breakfast
Aemstelhuys is a stylish Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast, built in 1780 and only recently renovated to meet modern day standards.
It is a REAL Bed and Breakfast; you have a bedroom with ensuite bathroom in my home and breakfast is served to you each morning in the kitchen.
Amsterdam Location
The B&B is close to most places of interest! Many highlights are just minutes away: the Opera House,the Skinny Bridge, Hermitage Museum, the Royal Carré Theatre, Flea Market, Rembrandt House and Rembrandt Square are within 5 minutes walk. So too are the Willet-Holthuysen, Hermitage ,van Loon and Handbag Museums.
The Colony Room
B&B Rooms
We offer a twin room and a double room, each with an en-suite. An extra bed is also available in each of the rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have hairdryers, coffee machines and tea making facilities.
Rates & Reservations
The all inclusive rates for doubles start at € 140 (season 2012). Special rates for stays of five nights or more. Discounts and special rates are not applicable during festival periods. You can check our availability online and send a reservation request by clicking your check in date on the calendar.
Babies and Children
Due to the age and character of the house and the open and steep staircases, Aemstelhuys is not suitable for families with babies or young children. There are no rooms to accommodate more than three persons.
Cookery Courses
A residential cookery course in an 18th century townhouse in the heart of Amsterdam which combines fun and suitable-for- all cooking lessons plus free time for sightseeing in Amsterdam.
Museum entrance fees, canal tour, bicycle rental and all public transport are included in the cost.
Visits to the market, the herring stall and a hand made chocolate shop are also included.
